Does your puppy need to work on their polite greetings? Perhaps spruce up on their sit and down stays? Are their loose leash walking skills lackluster or simply lacking? Is stimulus control around treats, toys and other dogs seem like an impossibility? Good news, this 4-week class will address all of this and more! While the name reads Puppy Manners, dogs of all ages are welcome. Rapid Recall Class Description
A solid and rapid recall can mean the difference between life and death for your dog. With this 4-week class we will work to build up three separate types of recall: your dog’s name, a causal everyday recall (Fido Come) and an emergency recall. While training and proofing a reliable recall is an ongoing process, this class will give your dog the foundation necessary to come to you when it counts! Exercises are designed to incrementally increase in level of distractions and distance until your dog is rushing down a gauntlet alleyway of alluring treats, toys and other dogs straight to you! While we always welcome drop-ins we feel you and your dog will benefit more from attending several of these classes as it will add consistency and reinforcement.
